I was thinking of something cloth that hooks on the ears and maybe had a charcoal filter.
It was an old style Ipod mini bought in 2005, and when I put it in my luggage with it's uncharged battery I did for a fleeting moment think someone may nick it but then thought oh, it's so old and invaluable I doubt it.
I wish we could go back to locking our suitcases but the last time I did that I had the locks broken and the suitcase rendered useless. As well as it turning up at 3am in the morning delivered by some psycho who claimed to be subcontracting from United. This is when they "lost" my luggage coming back from Johannesburg.

"Stunned police gave chase to a UFO after it attacked their helicopter near a military base," the Sun tabloid breathlessly recounted in its Friday edition. "The mystery aircraft zoomed straight at the chopper as the three-man cop crew prepared to land."
Quote:So was it a UFO or not?

That's what a lot of Britons are wondering after the U.K.'s biggest-selling newspaper reported that a police helicopter in Wales had chased a flying saucer — and the police responded by giving their own, much less dramatic account.

"Stunned police gave chase to a UFO after it attacked their helicopter near a military base," the Sun tabloid breathlessly recounted in its Friday edition. "The mystery aircraft zoomed straight at the chopper as the three-man cop crew prepared to land."

Once again it is a joy to drive around the valley. Hardly any cars, save the odd few miniscule women in 8 seater SUVs on school runs.
It has brought home, however, just how close to the edge people here live. They get a house, plunder the credit of it (can't remember the correct term) and end up in foreclosure. It's unreal how many houses are for sale here, a lot on the foreclosure auction block.
Oddly enough some subsidised housing, ie the adjacent street, has turned out to be one of the prettiest streets, multi-ethnic, all well kept and loved houses, whereas our street has some long empty houses with owners living in other states. With the drought we now have I can't wait to see their faces when they get their water bills. They leave the sprinklers connected and must be clocking up a fortune.
