Has anybody been watching this? I'm totally hooked (I have a weakness for reality tv - sad I know...) I watched BB in the UK and this is my first US BB. The US one is definately more watchable. And now that Alison is head of house it's going to get more fun. The 'mantroll' better watch her step!
Nell, that ManTroll's number is up though now that Alison has HOH, me thinks. We shall see, I dont' understand how Jee and Robert have made it this far.. UGH!
btw.. I'm hooked too! (Reality tv junkie)
Jee is growing on me - couldn't bear him at first but I now think he's funny. But Robert, yep you're right there. I liked David so not happy about last night evil
Apparently, just after Alison won HOH, Mantroll asked her if there was anyway she could avoid nomination (as if!) and Alison replied "Yes, if you leave voluntarily"! Ohhh... it's going to get more bitchy... it's going to get even better D
You are JOKING ME! Ya know I don't like Alison but that is GREAT!
hey, and David and Amanda were our (the US) first sexual encounter! Wow we are only a few years behind eh? *LOL*
Dana and Justin go up... if someone uses POV then she puts Dana and Robert I think. (He needs to go anyhow, he misses his kid too much)
Hey Nell check out
http://www.realiiity.com. I post as "MisBish" lots of reality stuff there!
No, I don't like Alison either but she has the potential to really stir things up.
I think it'll Dana and Justin too. Alison doesn't like the fact her ex is flirting with someone else and will definately want to break them up.
The UK is even more behind in the nookie stakes. They've just finished their BB4 and still none (the closest they got was BB3 and that was only a little more than a fumble under the sheets). The producers of BB were so desperate, one of the UK tabloids was offering 50,000 pounds to the first couple that did it. But we British are such prudes there was no chance!
I'll go check out that reality site now. I need a fix! Thanks Emellbee )
I do remember before Manc moved here and graced us with his presence (we all call it PM here.. Pre Matt lol ) He and I were talking on the phone but he had to go quickly and call his sister because he was watching Big Brother on his PC and something about two of them were behind the dresser and ready to "do it' or something. Will have to ask him when he gets back in the office.
I just went to Omaha a month ago and met like 35 people from Survivor. Two of the British Survivors were supposed to show up but never did.
Boo... Can't get on that other site due to my email (
I'm impressed - mixing with the famous! I've never seen Survivour (I know - call myself a true reality tv junkie - pah! But in my defence, I did watch all of the Joe Millioniare episodes )
I'm glad to see that the men get into these shows as much as us. My husband Tom watches it as well and gets more into it that me (shouting various things at the screen...) If it was last year you were speaking to Manc, then it'll probably be Jade and PJ, if the year before then Helen and Paul (Helen of classic quotes like "I love blinking I do" and "How much chicken is there in Chick Peas?" (????) )
Whats even more sad is that we paid $25 for the Internet telecast.... roll
I am SOOOO jealous! So you guys get to see all the good stuff eh? (Like Scott admitting he has genital herpes?)
I love this show as well, so much more interesting than the British version although I prefer the way nominations are secret and not allowed to be spoken about in the British version. I don't know how the producers manage to pick such boring people for the UK one. I don't even think that anyone has really kissed in the UK version. Watching all the different country versions you can really see how prudish the Brits are, they need to loosen up a little, it is not the be all and end all of the world if people kiss!!
I like Erika and I really liked David.
I like the way the nominations are open in the US. Much more tension and back stabbing that way (just the way I like my reality tv  ) I did feel sorry for Michelle last week when she was nominated but it was funny (yes, I'm cruel) the look on her face when her name was called to be evicted!
Of the British ones BB3 was way the bitchiest and definately the most entertaining. Who can forget Jade "I'm not a minger" Goodey?
Do you reckon Alison and Nate will get it on this week? (She does profess to have a boyfriend though...)

She doesn't really seem to have remembered him much so far though!! I wonder if she still has a boyfriend??
You're right about the backstabbing as well I suppose, the only time I don't like this though is when one alliance is stronger and they just pick people off as it doesn't make for any surprises...
That's true about the alliances and while I thought Dana was foolish going against the alliance for her sake at least for the viewers it's got more interesting as I'm not sure how much of an alliance is left. If the POV isn't used, do you think the original group will still back Dana even though she stabbed them in the back? My feeling is they might still do that but it depend if Alison gets to them first I suppose. And if I were Alisons boyfriend, I'd have dumped her by now
It's all serious stuff

Yeah and David and Amanda 'christening' the HOH bed.... :D

I think they should ditch Dana, what a weird one!!!
