As a new home-owner, you should be chomping at the bit to get home and watch all those shows!

Actually, I taped Ground Force the other night when they worked on the little garden in New York and watched it last night - sad I know but I wanted to watch them concreting as I have about six bags of the stuff in my garage and need to use it quick.

I'll be taping Ground Force USA at 9 pm tonight - from the trailers, it looked like they would be working on properties like mine and God knows, I need all the tips I can get!

Take a tip from your good lady about off buttons

she usually precedes 'Off' with something else when shouting at me.

We also get loads of that as well. Believe me. But you seem to get a lot more of it right in prime time. I hate all that false jolity, although it's occasionally fun when someone completely HATES having their home painted purple with tons of cheap plywood and bad stencilling slapped up everywhere!

Did you watch it? If not, you might kick yourself as "Ground Force USA" was in Atlanta and one evening, the guy they were working for took them to a hocky match and of course, the Atlanta Thrashers were playing the Detroit Redwings (who stomped them predictably!)

The show was good - gave me a few ideas but I need my Ground Force team back before I can attempt anything on that scale.

Ugh, we used to get Julian Clary about two years ago and no more :( I was amazed watching it! *LOL* Now, I am hooked on Graham Norton!

I watched the Ground Force USA last night too. And while I did enjoy it, I can't understand why the showed the episode again straight after... I mean why???? I can understand showing it again another night but straight after???? Bizarre.....

One show I've been loving is Parkinson Starburst!!

What's the deal with Titchmarsh? Did he leave Ground Force? I'm addicted to it whenever it's on.

Changing rooms was fabulous the other night.....woman opened her eyes and said "it's crap, a load of crap" - lol Awesome!

Yep, Mr Titchmarsh left. I prefered it with him as he always went mardy with Tommy. The joviality seems a bit forced now but still enjoy it anyway.

Maybe Alan left to write some more steamy novels.... o

My folks told me Alan had quit a while back. They warned me that the replacement (Kirsty) was just a background figure and Tommy and Charlie battle it out for the spotlight now.

They left a video at my house a few months ago, which had a number of British shows taped and one was him designing and then setting up a little garden all on his own. It was a good show but it's a pity he can't do that and Ground Force. I think it was an ITV programme.
