12.) Add 2-6 habanero peppers finely diced……….do not get juice on private parts, hands or in eyes!

lol Some good advice there. You never got warnings like that from Delia Smith or Blue Peter.

Love habanero's and have got juice on those areas, quite unintentionally and I was being careful!

I have developed (as far as my hands and mouth go) an immunity to hot chili peppers, but I forgot about the "under the fingernails".......

I also used to make my own hot sauce when we lived in San Joser, and used to wear a gas mask when I was making the el diablo sauce...

The hotter the better.

You know what's even funnier, you posting this.

I'm making my award winning chili tonight for dinner (yes I know it's late - being married to a teacher and me being a network geek is par for the course).

If I get enough requests, I'll post it.

It won at a local fair! My first entry.

Mucho Caliente regards!

Andrew
I'd like the recipe - I love chilli but I am getting mightily bored of the supermarket packet mixes so a step-by-step guide with ingredients list would go down very well in the Pilgrim household.

Don't forget step 12) smile
