I was dismayed to get an e-mail from Kitbag.com saying that a new England shirt was out for the World Cup, having just bought my new one before Christmas. However, reading the e-mail, I finally caught on that it is the AWAY shirt and my white shirt will still be the home shirt for another year or so.

Anyway, the new one looks pretty good and is reversible (apparently the first international shirt ever to be reversible) and is red with blue inside. Might see about getting that too as I could wear it to work more often than white (gets dirty too easily). They are 39.99 UKP and then extra if you want a number or name put on them.

i read about david beckham and michael owen showing off the new away shirt at a press conference in london. the fact that it is reversible is great, may just have to go ahead and get one for myself.
The reversable thing is weird, I came up with that idea when I was 10. Although I thought of putting two different clubs on the same shirt. Didn't think it would ever see light of day. Now all we need are watches with football players kicking the alarm bell.

I bought the current jersey on my trip home in January. It's the first time I have ever owned an England kit.
Anyway on the shirt it says that it won't be changed until St Georges Day 2003. So I still have over a year before this one is 'out-of-date' smile
