i used to love them.
i remember bagpuss and they bought out the toys a couple of years ago and i have bagpuss and two of the mice in my kitchen

Are they the singing mice that interact with each other? Was looking at getting a couple of those.

I just have the Bagpuss car freshener. I have all the episodes on video too and it is a much requested favourite when my girlfriend and her three year old are round. She and I both commented how they don't seem to make programmes like that any more - it seems so gentle and serene compared with a lot of the TV they have for young children.

I suppose Mr. Rogers was the nearest they had to that sort of thing here but then again, I did not grow up here so perhaps not for me to say.

Yeah, the Clangers. Now that I own the Moon I have them working for me. I was going to have Manc Exterminations clear out the space vermin but he wanted a ridiculous gas mileage allowance.

A friend of mine has a toy clanger that makes THAT noise.

I got a better deal snowploughing and road salting on Callisto thanks very much.

My MIL (aided and abetted by Beest) knitted me two clangers for my 29th birthday. They're lovely, but little did they realise my clanger worship was dulled when, aged 20, I watched a Clanger video and realised they were knitted. :cry: Beest also bought me the video and we were busy breeding a new generation of clanger lovers, but it's a UK video and has that new fangled protection thing so our friends with a dual format VCR can't copy it onto US format. We have now had to stash the original tape where the children can't find and want to see it.

My sister gave me a clangers CD a couple of years ago and the children love it, but THAT noise get's really irritating after a while if you can't see the buggers! :lol:
