The Britnet Contact List is now controlled via the same database that the message board uses. This means you don't have to create multiple user names and remember different passwords.

To be included in the contact list, please read on.

You do not have to use the message board to be listed on the contact list! This is just an easy way for me to manage the site.

Email addresses on the contact list are protected. Every email address is displayed as an image so that spiders can't get your email address. I hate spam and will help you to protect yourself from it.

We don't sell or give out email address without your permission. We may occasionally email you with very important information on service changes or to verify your email address is still valid.

New message board users: Click on the register button at the top right side. Fill in your profile.

1) Real name is required so that people know who to contact.
2) Make sure Entry on the Contact List is set to yes
3) Enter a comma dilimited list of British towns/cities you're from (3-4 work well). We will link to a Yahoo! page if one is available.
4) Select the US State, Canadian Province or Country in which you now live. This is so that people can find others in a certain area.
5) Zipcode. Enter your 5 digit zipcode if in the US and we'll like to the Yahoo! page for your area.
6) Further down, Town/City should be the place in which you now live.
7) A valid email address is required so people can contact you. When you sign up an automatic email will be sent with an activation code. Please ensure you activate your account.

Existing message board users: You can only make changes through the Plus profile for now. Please change that in your profile before making the above changes.

All entries will be reviewed on a regular basis and edited or removed as necessary. Please make it easy for me by entering valid information.

The new contact list will go live on August 1st 2003. Any users who have not converted will be removed from the old contact list.

If you have any questions, please feel free to send me a note.

Regards
Nigel
This was a bad idea - ignore it )

I'll fix the other contact list later.

Nigel
Just one slight problem - all the current e-mail links seem to point to my address so I've had a few disappointed folks trying to find people local to them.
