Has anyone else been watching "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy" on Bravo? Basically 5 hugely flamboyant gay men get to make over one straight man. I haven't laughed so much in ages. Especially that Carson fellow - "Show me on the doll where the Bad Man touched you", a true classic I feel.
I read earlier today that NBC are going to show a one-off condensed version of this show in the near future, after Will and Grace. I'm sure that'll expose it to a few unsuspecting folks!
I've yet to see it but after hearing about it on the radio and reading about it, it sounds like a scream.
Oh man, it's hysterical. The Chief Poof appears to be Carson, a man so flamboyant he makes Graham Norton and Julian Clary appear butch.
Remember, it's on Bravo. About the only show worth watching on that network.

Well, I love "Inside the Actors Studio". Bravo is also showing British episodes of the "Antiques Roadshow" and they air a lot of Independently produced films, which are often well worth seeing.

THAT was one of my favorite TV moments EVER!!!! I love this show, the "Fab 5" are damn hilarious!
The one I caught the other night, they had a long hair, surfer, heavy metal guy and when his (somewhat slutty) girlfriend seen him she said "I was worried they were going to make you into a yuppie" Carson says "What are we, the 5 IBM Fags???" :lol:
I don't think a half hour on NBC will do it justice, but if you all are interested at all, check it out. It's great TV!
Well I watched it after all your glowing recommendations and it was helluva funny.
The five guys were cracking me up but they really knew their stuff as well and I was impressed. This is no mean feat as usually anything on those lines puts me to sleep.
If they thought the latest guy had a minimalist look, they'd keel over in my house. Definitely looks like the repo men have been here!

The trouble and strife and myself have been watching Queer eye for a few weeks and my wife is addicted to it!!
I must say I find parts of the show hilarious!! Especially the when they have their little bitchfests!!
I noticed that theyre doing the chatshow rounds and as was mentioned earlier I see today that NBC has picked up the show and are advertising it.
I think the funniest thing is that my wife fancies the haircare queer......
