Well actually I don't care for football at all, but it seems to be the in-thing to say around here this week! Anyone else planning to watch the Superbowl on Sunday?
I actually plan to take advantage of the football by going somewhere. As most American males will have the butts planted on seats in front of a TV it seems the perfect opportunity to go somewhere that may normally busy. I'm guessing shopping is out of the question (I assume the women do this while the men stay at home) so something else perhaps.
Any ideas?
Postman Pats?
I'll probably go shopping Beng or catch a movie - so probably not much change from every other Sunday. Still, the roads will be clearer.
Though being English I have always been into American Football, in particular the New England Patriots (17 years a fan).
So, heck yes I'll be watching it!
It'll make a change to see it at a decent time of day for once. Being the first Superbowl since I moved here I am used to staying up late to watch it and taking the next day off work.
Go Pats, 3rd time lucky? grin
I'll be watching in MA too.....The principal of the school where I work has told us to wear Pats colours all this week! I'm running out of things to wear and it's only Wednesday!
Unfortunately, my son is playing in a 5pm basketball game on Sunday. I'm hoping it'll be over in time for me to catch most of the game. evil

Congrats all you new england fans you pulled of a well deserved win against a popular favourite the best Super Bowl i have seen (except of course when my team was in it ) Good luck next season
Patriots 20 Rams 17 am I dreaming! eek
What a game, I have never been so nervous in my life!
As a British Patriots fan for 17 years this has been a long time coming. I can't beleive we finally win it for the first time the same year that I move to the USA.
I am a happy happy man grin
I was rooting for the Rams but oh well.
I'm not really into American Football but I do like the Superbowl. It seems the only time of year the US advertising industry proves that they can be imaginitive.
WOOO HOOOO!!! I won $400 on our work super bowl pool!! I put in $10 - and my numbers were 0 & 7!!
Good for the Patriots!! and me!!
