Just wondering if there's anything you'd recommend. I went out and splurged over the last few weeks and bought meself-
Clem Snide Soft Spot
Mogwai Happy Songs For Happy People
Grandaddy Sumday
Chris Isaak Baja Sessions
William Orbit In A Modern Style
A did buy Radiohead's Hail The Thief on a tip from a friend but took it back because it was so awful. Still, what do you expect from a band fronted by Clay Aitken.
Coldplay's album 'A Rush Of Blood To The Head' is simply amazing to relax to. Next time you are out of it and ya want somethin to soothe you, have a listen with a pair o earphones and just drift away -D!
I quite like the title single to Radiohead's new album. I think I'll have to have a listen to rest of it before I shell out any cash though.
Coldplay's A Rush of Bloods... is absolutely brilliant!
I quite like Evanessence's new single. Has anyone got their album?

Natacha Atlas- Something dangerous (blends of Arabic hindi and just about everything else) Also F and G
Groove Armada-Lovebox. Very Groovey

What have I/we bought lately.
Roxy Music Live 2001/2 Tour (Excellent)
Dandy Warhols - Welcome to the Monkey House
Stereophonics - You Gotta Go There To Come Back
Black Rebel Motorcyle Club - BRMC
Queens of The Stone Age - Songs For The Deaf
Blur - ThinkTank
White Stripes - White Blood Cells
I went to see the Queens Of The Stone Age a few months back - truly awesome. Hadnt seen them play live since 1998 and they were good then but wow! Songs For The Deaf is probably my pick for album of the year along with Tomahawk (self titled).
By the way if you have the Songs For The Deaf that came with the DVD, pop in your cd, press play and then hold rewind for about a minute and a half.

Oh UKM...
No, I have to turn off Virgin when that "music" comes on air.
I'd rather sell my house than listen to that in all honesty.
That womans voice is akin to listening to a chainsaw on metal pipe. She cannot sing to save her life.
Celine Dion is a close second when it comes to the nails on blackboard sound.
Awful, awful, awful...
So to answer your question, nope
When it comes to music me and MacZ agree 100%. And when Bungle and MacZ agree it's written in granite.
Wot, no room for error, then????? wink
I actually *like* her voice. Each to his/her own I suppose... D

Currently listening to "King Kong Deconga" a Brazilian punk-ska band, bought yet another copy of "Legend" cuz that always walks at a party, to be honest I tend to stick to classic stuff like James Brown boxed sets, Otis Redding collections and just bought the "Clueless" soundtrack for "Need You Around" by the Smoking Popes. It's their one song I like and there's a nice version of "Fake Plastic Trees" on it too.
