Saw this movie last night - thought it was great fun. I certainly enjoyed it alot more than Matrix Reloaded. Johnny Depp is great in it (as always) as is Geoffrey Rush (again - as always). Even Orlando Bloom is entertaining enough. The best part about it though is that all the pirates are made up of British comedians/actors, with a significant quantity of The Office getting some decent airtime. The movie is pretty funny, and I say go see it now!

How come you are slobbering over all the male actors, I thought that smashing female lead actress, Keira Knightley, was the best looking Britsnatch in a long time.

I saw this flick the other day and thought it was pretty good. The leading lady is, indeed, very easy on the eyes.
I recognised that Gareth bloke from The Office... who else was in there?
Who else? One of the main guys from Coupling is in it as - Jack Davenport I think his name is. Jonathan Pryce is in it as a Governor. And of course the guy from THe office. I recognise alot of the other people but I couldnt put a name to their faces.

Arrrrrrr, I concur, it be a fine movie now. Ahem, I have the resist the urge to walk around the office muttering pirate ramblings under my breath all day now. Don't really like the guy but have to admit, Johnny Depp really made the movie.
Johnny Depp is excellent as the camp Keith Richards pirate.He got all the best lines

What a character he played! Was dissapointed with JP,OB and KK, thought they were a little weak. But that was made up by so many unknown actors, that It didn't really spoil the movie too much.
Always liked Johnny Depp - when he was in that "Fast Show" sketch with the "Suits You Sir!" Kenneths, was a fine comedic moment. Supposedly he had been a fan for years, having caught it on the BBC whilst filming over in UK and pushed to get into the sketch.
