I really, really want to see this film.
On a scale of 1 to 10, Zed, how scary is it??
I saw "The Ring" when I was in England and that was very creepy.

I'd say on par with The Ring in the sense of being creepy. However I wouldn't really describe this movie as a horror as such. My friend and I were the only ones jumping out of our seats. One of the best movies I have seen since in such a long time. Can't really explainwhy, but I really liked this movie.

Agh, wish I'd come along with you. I don't deal too well with scary stuff though, Signs (with Mel Gibson) had me so tensed up, my feet went clammy.. cool

Saw a preview for it this morning. That scared me enough. I'm chicken! lol

Oops, didn't rank it. Sorry! I'd give it a 7 out of 10 for being scary...

The trashiest movie i've ever seen, don't waste your money, somebody said years ago "the worst movie ever made was the revenge of the killer tomatoes " well 28 days later is in the same league...........june

It was really good thanks. We were in the 10th row from the front - in the special Pearl Jam fan club area....
The only problem was it made me feel very old to be there - none of the other audience members were younger than 25.. And I didn't know the words to 50% of the songs, which was a bit disappointing...
But good fun none the less... (didn't get home until 2am though as it finished at 12 and we were stuck on the West Side Highway for 40 mins at a standstill. :x )

I saw 28 Days Later at the weekend. It was OK. The scenes of a deserted London were really well done...and it was nice to hear some good old fashioned British swearing again ). I just got to a point where I couldn't care less about the characters though and whether or not they got killed or not....but it was entertaining enough. I'd give it 6/10.

Has anyone seen/heard about the alternative ending ?

Rented this on DVD last night. I'd give it a (generous) 4 out of 10.
Nice idea but then goes competely mental. The alternative endings aren't much cop either.
Pros lots of dirty words and the heroine's a bit of a hotty.
Cons pretty much everything else.

Saw it over the weekend. Really enjoyed it. Not so much scary as thout provoking. would have liked it to go into more detail about how the UK was quarantined from other states. Alternative ending didn't really add much to the film, but I did prefer it to the first one.

Watched it last night - was ok but as GF said, when you've seen one post-apocalyptic movie, you've seen them all.
Liked the deserted city stuff but frankly, "Night of the Comet" was more entertaining and "The Day of the Triffids" TV series was much better.

We just watched 28 days tonight.
It was ok but I couldn't get passed why it was taking them 2-3 days to go from London to Manchester, with no traffic on the roads it should have been a 3 or maybe 4 hour drive.
It started to really lose me when they got with the Army, bit predictable from there.
