Fifteen points from the boot of fly-half Jonny Wilkinson handed England their first victory over the All Blacks on New Zealand soil for 30 years.
Despite being reduced to 13 men mid-way through the second-half, Clive Woodward's side held on to cement their reputation as the world's number one ranked team.

Strangely, my interest co-incided with Moseley starting to play on the University of Birmingham's fields, which I walked round on a regular basis
So you're not a rugby player? In college, the female rugby team were a bunch I wouldn't mess with. eek
I never played any team sports. I was too scared. I'm contemplating it now, though wink
The Rugby world cup starts in Aus in September I think.
It starts Oct 10 in Sydney

Ooooh, a good friend of mine (Busby) used to play for Mosely. Smal world.
I didn't know England were plaing the Kiwis either, and I didn't know that they were ranked #1. Both pieces of news are music to my ears, even if I am consumed with running at the moment and can't keep up with the rest of the world.
Thanks for the post Manc. I'm off to read all abaht it.
Now all we have to do is figure out how to get it on US TV

Laurence, England beat all South Africa, Australia, and New Zealand last autumn in London. All in the space of about 3 weeks.
Added to the Grand Slam win this winter....
#1 team in the world
grin

As long as we don't meet Australia, the bogey team of all sports.
