I have just heard that Michael Shumacher has signed up with Ferrari untill 2006.

Also, along with Shumi, the rest of the gangs all there as well... Jean Todt (Missewer Toad), Ross Brawn (veritable technical genius), Paulio (the engine bloke) and Rory Byrne (he does something as well!).

Superb... go big Red!!

smile
The same gang that were accused of cheating at Benetton roll

Like no-one in F1 tries to get away with whatever....

Go Schumi!!!

Wouldn't it be good to see Schumi beat the 5 world titles record that has stood for so long?

sorry, but no. Not because he doesn't deserve it, or because he isn't a GREAT driver, but because I find the man very boring.
Unlike Ayrton Senna I find the man to have absolutely no personality.

Yes, it would be cool to see him get 6.

Manc, I so disagree.

Personally I rank them the same as far as personality goes. Having met him at the first (inaugral USGP) we found him to be charming, intelligent and quite the ordinary bloke.

Andrew smile
Manc... you don't really mean that smile

I think, what you are really trying to say is that the man is a veritable driving genius, whose only real fault is that he is German.

And that he refuses to allow his team mate to race him.

His nationality has nothing to do with it.

I think the man is a machine, (not literally) but he is a great driver, consistent and ruthless.

He has very little charisma, and I think him winning time after time does the sport no good what so ever.

Manc, give me a break, He is THE best driver there is right now. Compare him to whomever you like BUT at this moment in time he is the BEST and that's it...

Then why won't he let Barrichello race him? What's he scared of?

HMMMMMM sounds a vagueley similar position Eddie Irvine found himself in right? christ alive he could hardly get a test in the car when he first moved to Maranello
Like at Monaco you mean Jim wink wink
Ayrton Senna and Alain Prost were 2 of the best drivers in the 80's and 90's

they were team mates and raced each other, knocked into each other, pushed each other off the road.

now thats maybe what Schumi and Reubens should be into.......

Or how about team mates Mansell and Picquet going at it together in the late 80's when Mansell's tyre blew up in Australia and then the next year when he crashed in Suzuka handing the title to Nelson.

Those were the years.....

Well I was thinking more like Austria last year, and the year before that.

Also the year Schumacher broke his leg at silverstone, when if Eddie Irvine had not had to move over for Schumacher in earlier races, he would have been world champion. wink
