I bought Mick the DVD of "Die another Day", we had gone to the theatre to watch it when it was first released and hadnt been too impressed, so we thought we would try it again (plus he wanted to add to his collection of all the other JB movies). Well the verdict from our house is, some good parts, too much of an "American movie" influence, but , and this is my pov, Pierce Brosnan is worth drooling at anytime lol
Yeah, the DVD is pretty good with all the "extra" features.

I do think that Halle Berry's "Jinx" character was well over-hyped and much preferred that baddie British girl. She was very nice! smile
That movie was so cheesy it stank of gorgonzola. It was what I expect from a Bond movie though - and yeah Halle Berry's character was totally over hyped. I think Bond films will have to go more to story lines what with films like The Matrix blowing them out of the water for special effetcs. Anyone remember the last water scene in Die Another Day - it looked like they had run out of money as Brosnan was blatantly stood in front of a huge TV screen wobbling back and forth.
I agree... the special effects are not going to be enough in the future (were they ever?) and the Bond producers are going to have to go back and come up with decent storylines. I think the last Bond movie with a decent storyline was GoldenEye, and the bit about Janus was a blatent rip off from a Colin Forbes book.

And also, the latest movie was a bit cheesy. The bad girl was called "Ms Frost" and the "finale" took place in an ice palace.
Puh-leese!!
I wonder how many Matrix movies will be released in forty years time.
