Just heard on espn reportedly Beckham will go to barcelona for 30 million.

Apparantly he had to get Poshes permission before signing smile
Absolutely, must be cleared with the one who must be obeyed. Afterall, I am one who is relocating because of my wifes job...I still don't have one lined up. I have thought it's a pity I don't have a womb.....but then again maybe not.
perhaps they will buy posh as well and keep em both out of Uk for a few years
We can all live in hope. Although David is quite fanciable until he opens his gob. grin
I'd lay money on it he doesn't go anywhere.
He's not going trust me,posh wants to become the next j-lo...sing and act at the same time and make it big over here, which Im sure she will find it hard to break in over here from spain?...remember she wears the pants grin
Oh, I've just had a horrible thought....maybe they'll come to live over here! eek

Can't be doing with them on Britnet!!

Thick and thin regards.....

Debs x smile
Don't worry, I really don't see a "Beckham signs for LA Galaxy Shocker" in the near (or distant) future.

Don't worry, from the biogs I've seen, they like to splash out on the luxuries but have no idea about paying for the necessities, so the subscribers-only forums should be safe

Have I been teleported to the recipes forum? And if so, can we have a new section for unpleasant recipes? It seems John may have something to contribute.

Might happen after all

I must say that I find the prospect of Beckham learning Spanish hilarious. The boy can barely string an English sentence together. Maybe his status as a world icon will afford him a team of translators and he'll never have to bother. I for one though, do not think he'll last too long in a country where they don't speak English as a first language.

Good luck to him though, he's a local boy from Chingford. I went to school with his sister, Lynne.
Laurence , be nice. I know he's not the most eloquent of people but I'll forgive him anything for that penalty against Argentina.
I hope he does pick up on a European offer. The experience will do his playing the world of good. Good luck to him.

To be honest I would be sad to see Becks go from the Premier League. I'm no fan of Man U and never used to be a Beckham fan but I think he's really matured over the past couple of years and he's a good advertisement for the game and the league. Also he's a devoted family man and I think a good role model for young footie fans (unlike some other young players I could mention). Ok so he's not the "sharpest tool in the box" but there aren't many brainbox players out ther nowadays.
He also single handedly won England qualification to the last World Cup (he played Greece on his own pretty much!)
But good luck to him, if he can makes some money to keep Posh in clothes and jewelry then all power to him.
