Cardiff City football fans will not be singing the Welsh national anthem at a key match in the Millennium Stadium this weekend, the Football League said on Thursday.
A furious row erupted when it emerged that God Save The Queen would be sung ahead of the club's Division Two promotion play-off final against Queens Park Rangers on Sunday

Now I detest rascism in all its forms, and I know GSTQ is the British National anthem, but I'd love QPR to beat Cardiff now, and if the Bluebirds don't like the way the Nationwide league is set up maybe they should play in the inept League of Wales.

Couldn't they sing both? GSTQ first and then Land of My Fathers, seeing as a Welsh team is playing in a Welsh stadium?
Just do what they did in Dublin when they only ever played one anthem, sing it anyway and make the buggers wait
We'll they've caved in and scrapped GSTQ, not only from the QPR-Cardiff game, but for the other two finals as well.
Shame - I remember singing it at the two Wembley play-off finals I went to in 1995 and 1996 and it was a great experience.
