I hate the playoffs.
But not as much prolly as Des Walker.
Did anyone catch the Forest - Blades game yesterday?
4-3 to Sheffield after extra time.
How come after 90 minutes Forest didn't win on away goals?
This year there was no away goal or golden goal rules

your a derby fan though aren't you? bet you'r not too unhappy.
what happened with John Gregory though?
Too right, I just hope tht they've got everything legally right & tied up, the last thing they need is a legal action for unfair dismissal. He had a clause in his contract that if he was sacked within 18 months he gets a payout of around 1.8 million. Me thinks DCFC are trying every which way they can to avoid shelling out the compenstion they basically can't afford. Is that the lawyers tills rattling that I hear ?
All I heard was that there was an investigation and he was fired, and now he is appealing, what did he do to be under investigation?
Reading between the lines, from what I understand not a whole lot. There was someting to do with the treatment of Craig Burleys achilles injury, but they never got on anyway, so no suprises there. Bullying younger players into signing for a particular agent. R5 live said it was 1 player only who hadn't complained. And finally something to do with the transfer of Warren Barton. All in all a little threadbare to say the least. The appeal is to be heard by Lionel Pickering, club chairman, hardly independent. Is that against his human rights now we signed up for all that stuff ??
to be honest, if all that stuff is true, your better off without him. The sad thing is, some other desperate team will still offer him a job.
probably mine. eek
who are in the 2nd and 3rd Div playoffs?
Div 2 is Cardiff v QPR
Div 3 I think is Bournmouth and somebody
Lincoln 'jammy 86th minute equalizer' City in Div 3 playoffs. mad
No Capital One logo in the Premiership next year then!
GOOD! Up the Blades! (I lived in Sheffield for three and a half years, owned a Sheff Utd shirt and passed Bramall Lane every day for half a year on the way to work).
Down to the wire, Sheffield Utd vs Wolves at Cardiff. Regular-season play saw a draw and a Sheffield victory. Come on Wolves !!!!! It has been too long away from the top flight........ sad
Yet again we find ourselves on opposite sides for a final. Hopefully the result will go my way this time (though I would have much prefered the win last September).
Caution the Subway Army is heading your way grin
