Try this one. I can't get marrowfat peas here, so I use dried split green peas. You can usually get them in the dried food section of your supermarket. They work quite well.

Actually you've started me craving them now, so I will be making some in the near future.
That means I'll have make fish and chips too... oh dear, there went the diet!
If the peas don't go mushy you can add some bicarbonate of soda (just a pinch)which will break down the cellular structure of the peas. (I think they call it baking soda over here) Add it at the start of cooking but don't put salt in until after they are cooked. smile
