Leslie Grantham has finally agreed terms to return as Dirty Den! Isn't this going to make the soap sillier than it already is? It's hardly like it's an unpredictable but realistic twist -firstly they've been hinting at it since he left in the first place, and secondly, it's the most unlikely faked death in the history of dodgy soap operas. Or will it turn out to have been a dream and he was in the cellar changing the barrel all along? roll Still, I'm sure it'll up the viewing figures for a while. Even I might've tuned in had I still been in the UK. lol
I get the impression that you're way ahead of us on BBC Canada, on BBC America, in terms of episodes.

On BBC C Dot and Jim have just got married. smile
I don't watch it at all -I just found this article in my daily news email from the BBC.
Have Fred and Sid had an argument down the pub over Doris yet, Lee? These plot lines, they keep me on the edge of my seat roll
Don't think so Lizzi. Let's see, Dot and Jim just got married. Sonia's just told Jamie to get lost because he shagged Janine in some seedy little shed. Ian's just been forgiven by Mel for nicking some of her money and they're back in the catering business again. Steve's just been given (a very small) chelsea smile by some crooks he ripped off in a robbery (Phil arranged it and having a good gloat). Phil keeps trying to see his baby, putting Mark Fowler's nose out of joint - oh and just a few weeks ago we had a wierd series of episodes where Peggy went down to Marbella to go to Frank's funeral and discovered that he was alive and had staged his funeral, but she brought (a new) Samantha (not the one who now has no nose) back with her to Walford.

I didn't watch Eastenders in the UK. It's my girlfriend who straps me into the Clockwork Orange chair and makes me watch it.......honestly.

She actually watches Corrie every week too, which I virtually refuse to watch. I usually go to the office and talk to you guys instead.

I think we're a year and a bit behind the UK. for Eastenders.
As for bringing back Dirty Den, remember Corrie brought back Bet for a few episodes. Not that I would - er - know that. So I heard.
'Scuse me, but wtf's a chelsea smile? The mind boggles.
It's when you're cut with a Stanley knife on your face, particularly when you're cut from the corner of your mouth upwards. Although in Steve's case they just cut him about two inches on his cheek. It's gangland retribution talk, probably named after Chelsea because some of their supporters were such nasty hooligans at one time.
Hmmm -that was my first thought, but I figured it was more likely to be cockney rhyming bollox. roll Thanks!
Well it might be rhyming bollox too but I'm not sure about that. roll
