Are there any get togethers or drinking nights going on?

Not sure about any get togethers, but I live 20 minutes south of Boston, we could maybe make arrangements for an evening out somewhere, are there any other members here from withing the Boston area? smile

I live in Brookline during the week and am always looking for something to do in the evenings(my wife is working at home on the cape),I am up for a get together,I hear the Plow and Stars in on Mass ave in cambridge is a good pub and I am going to check it out next week.Will let you know what I think.

So I went to Kitty O'Shea's (just off Quincy Market) on Sat night and met a few English and Irish (obviously) people and it was a good laugh. Any thoughts.......?

i haven't been there yet [can't believe i've missed one!] sounds like fun, shall we all arrange to go out for a few beers?

hi Mike, good to hear from you! me and emmarella are loosely making plans to meet for a beer, not this coming weekend but the weekend after. would love you to join us if you fancy a pint or two! not sure where we're meeting yet, details, details! any suggestions appreciated! grin

A pint or two next weekend sounds great - just wish they would charge British prices here for beer - $4 for a pint is outrageous evil !
There are some pretty cool bars in Cambridge/Somerville - we could check them out.
