What is it about chocolate from the UK? It tastes sooo good.
Anyway, just thought I would share that.
Plus I haven't started on my Snickers one yet, if your quick it can go to the highest bidder!!

Where in NJ are you so I can pop over and steal your snickers egg?

Zed

I'm in Edison, and am willing to share if you can get here!!!
Your only 30 minutes from me see you in half an hour. grin

Zed
I've had cadburys chocolate sent over from the UK and to be honest I find the US Cadburys tastes just as good. However all other choc bars you can get here (Kit Kat, Twix, Rolos etc) I find are nowhere near as nice as the UK versions. Which is helpful for one's figure.
Ha! Well Zed I'm only 20 mins away so I'm going to beat you to it! lol

Anyone fancy meeting up in Iselin, Edison for a curry sometime?

There's a *huge* Indian expat community and they all go shopping on Royal Oak Road in Iselin (just off the Garden State Parkway next to the Metropark). I often go there and pick up spices, Ribena/Lucozade/Vimto/Heinz baked beans (UK ones)/Bird's custard powder/Pears soap ....and the odd Bollywood movie! It's a great place to eat too! smile
Mrs Manc devoured the remains of her Crunchie Easter egg yesterday.
Kids got some from Thorntons (posh little sods)
I myself have a box full of Munchies, Rapidly disappearing too.
Was watching last week the story of the Cadbury family on the Biography Channel. It was very interesting smile
Curry,

mmm, curry and chocolate well you have my attention!
Name the day and the time, and I am there.

Public service announcement Target are now selling off their Cadburys creme eggs (18)and Terrys Chocolate eggs (all made in the UK) at half price.
Hurry girls!
'scuse me, but it's not just girls that love chocolate! evil razz

Does anyone know the story of why 'Marathon' became 'Snickers'? I've heard rumours about because it was hard for foreigners to say 'Marathon'? Is that true? ???

I heard that too, the French for example find it hard to pronounce th as in Mras Thatcher sounded like Mrs Tatcher.

Incidentally the French also find it had to fight wars.

I heard it was hard for the French to say 'war' too... In fact the French word for 'war' also means 'surrender'...
