I've been here for 6 yeards total, my first four years in College, the working /post-grad the past two. So far I have only really met a handful of Brits sad
Are there any get togethers regularly planned, or any organised sports league (real football mostly) anyone knows about?
Welcome to Britnet, yes there are, sadly I can't help but I'm sure someone who can will be along shortly. Other than thatt, have a browse through this forum -there have been several Boston threads.
I am near Springfield, about an hour west of you. Actually drove around you yesterday on my way back from Canada. Freezing rain yuck.
Hi
There's a largish crowd of Brits who get out on at least a weekly basis in Boston.
e-mail me at richie_0701@hotmail.com if you're interested and I'll add you to the circulation.
Richie
Hello there !!!
As well as Richie's get together's weekly in Boston - if there's enough people in and close by the Worcester area. It may be an idea to start to get to know each other perhaps meeting up at an irish pub (they do full irish breakfasts on a Sunday), but we've not got around to trying it out yet.
Here's the web site for the pub

I don't know much about soccer over here yet, but I know that the town we live in, Grafton - has it's own soccer clubs.
Me and hubby Al are right on the edge of Worcester, 10 mins drive into the middle from home.

I have a bunch of Brit mates who moved out about the same time as me, roughly five years ago. Former colleagues. They mostly live around Cambridge. I live in Wayland.
Adam
Hi adamb, I live in the next town over from you in Weston. There are a couple of expat women's groups in Wellesley if you have a British wife/girlfriend who might be interested. I've lived here for 8 years with my British husband and 3 kids.
Welcome to Britnet smile

My fiancee is American actually - and in need of a women's group that focusses strongly on talking about wedding planning!

You need to talk to Stelesque.
My fiancee already did on theknot.com, and that's how I found out about this site!
Hey Ad, it's me!
I actually heard about it on hitched.co.uk!
Yes, I am bridezilla!
