Why would it be illegal? I've bet on footy games in the past from here and it was fine.
I have only managed to pick the winning horse once - I picked "Seagram" the year they were the sponsors. I wish it was always that easy though. Not a huge win but about the nearest feeling I will ever get to winning the lottery smile

What do they do when you win online - just credit it to the card you used?
Well my account had a pot and you could draw the money out to the debit card butI just blew it all on bets. It wasn't much and I haven't used it in years - not much of gambler.
