I went to the Le Mans 24 hour race a couple of times when I was a kid....early ninety's Schumacher was driving for Mercedes and drove faster at night than most of them were driving during the daylight hours.
I think he was driving in a car with Dr Jonathan Palmer, remember him of Tyrell fame?
