Well after all these months i am finally going to file this coming friday, which is the 14th for my adjustment of status. I'm married to an american by the way. God wish me luck. I've put the appointment off 3 times already because i was so nervous and i'm not even doing anything dodgy, anyone else been this "sick to the stomuch" nervous over INS, by the way, if anyone is thinking about moving to the states stay away from florida it is a foul ugly state.

you'll be alright lad. The INS are efficient and there is a rumor that they are buggers but they aren't really. If you are married and you love her and she loves you then they will see it and you will be hunky dory. When you get the memo telling you to go for your interview take as much info in both your names (car titles, apt leases, insurance cards, photographs)
Also try and heve your medical before the interview if possible. saves a lot of messing about.
thanks manc1976, did you live in manchester by any chance, as i was living in Altrincham last year, loved it a lot so did the wife, in-fact miss it a lot.
