Hi everybody,
Could anyone kindly recommend a good (& tested) immigration lawyer in Boston?
We have been seeing an apparently well respected specialist and were dismayed at the appalling service; even though we had sent in advance extremely detailed information about ourselves, he frequently forgot relevant details during the meeting, constantly changed his mind about specific visa options which only came up on our prompting in the first place, didn't know or remember absolute basics, etc, etc......
Many thanks in advance
Thomas

Welcome to Britnet, Thomas. Can't really help I'm afraid, but here's a link to a previous thread on the topic for lawyers in the NJ area -don't know it that's any use at all.

My company uses Mintz Levin in Boston - I've found them really on the ball as regards immigration issues (L1 visas, green cards, etc) - you might want to talk to Grant Sovern or Tullio Capasso there.

Hope this helps.

It depends how complicated your case is. We never used a lawyer. The only legal advice we asked for was from the Irish Immigration Center in Boston http//www.iicenter.org/ a non-profit organisation which gives free legal advice. You don't have to be Irish for them to help you and all they ask for is a donation. They advised that for most cases you don't need a lawyer and that most of the immigration lawyers are too expensive for what they do.

No matter what they are worth contacting, after all, it won't cost you anything.
I'm using a lawyer from Ohio, he's a quality turn. I live in Boston.
