I see this article on CNN last night and I thought I'd leave a couple of links for you all to peruse at your leisure. It appears that from February 2002 fees will be going UP and so it said on CNN that they are jacking the fees up to raise $120 odd million to fund itself!!!

they must be taking lessons from the british service, when i wanted to move home and take my wife of 19 yrs, the fee for a entry settlement visa was $ 500.00, i was falabagasted....Government are all thieves.

It sucks that the INS send out old forms. We were sent a I-751 this week & it's from 1991. It states that the fee for filing is $75 and now it's proposed to be $145. I wonder how much it will have gone up to by 2003 when we have to file? razz
