I'm still feeling a bit under the weather and just fancied having a Cup A Soup at lunchtime.

What a pathetic choice in our local supermarkets sad . The only brand is Liptons, and it's stuff like Chicken with Noodles, Chicken Broth with Pasta etc. Even the illustrations on the boxes look insipid and distinctly un-tempting.

I could kill for a Batchelor's Variety Pack. The ones with the croutons and flavours like Beef & Spicy Tomato, Cream of Asparagus, Cream of Mushroom, Minestrone etc. I've even tried a really nice Thai Cup A Soup with Lemongrass... smile

boo hoo cry

I hate Ramen crap compared to Pot Noodles.

Who'd ever have thought that we'd miss Pot Noodles but I get my Mum to send a couple over every couple of weeks. Those Bombay Bad Boy ones kill me though...PHEW... eek
I'm with you on the cup-a-soup. The choice here is crap.
Go to the asian food section in your supermarket, or wherever the japanese/chinese stuff is. In that section there are alot more and better cup-a-soup type packeets. I had Miso soup yesterday - delicious.

As for Ramon, there is a guy I work with who eats them raw out of the packet as a snack.
"Nobody makes soup in a cup like bachelors.....cup a soup..." da-da...

Thank you, you're been a wonderful audience..
