Sorry, I've never heard of them, but if you are going to open an English-style teashop, this website is a great resource...it also has a number of recipes for various types of scones, not just the plain ones

I've heard of them - aren't they piped biscuits? I remember seeing a recipe for them in my Mums 1963 Good Housekeeping CookBook. Unfortunately she still has it.
