Whoops, this is now a repeat (sorry) Anyone know if Melton Mowbray or any other brands of pork pies are available anywhere in Canada?

I have noticed Superstore selling a few Marks and sparks items last week while I was shopping. Soups and cookies.

Thanks, yes, I know about their stuff and they have reasonably priced St Michael (M&S brand) tea as well. At one time they DID carry Pork Pies; they weren't all that great, but better than 'note.' Pork Pies are about the only English food item, that I really like, that we can't get in Canada.
Think yourself lucky, you lot north of the border can get decent baked beans while us lot down here have to suffer the smoked sugar coated molasses laughingly called beans. evil
did I ever tell you how many cans of beans we brought back? grin
I make my own beans..mmmmm.
Our special supermarket on the Island here had a sail on Heinz baked beans. Yes, the ones you get back home, for 99c a tin grin
I think baked beans were invented over here. I ahve to say I have got used to them now (Bush's vegetarian beans) - I find the UK Heinz ones too.... orange now lol
I know what you mean kentgirl, they taste really orange. And yes baked beans were invented in the US. But that doent make Bush beans any good.
