Another question for all you knowledgeable folks I got my police check done early because at the time we were hearing stories about how they had a huge backlog and I didn't want to be waiting for ages. Typically they sent it to me within a week (LOL! when does that ever happen in England! lol ) and that was back in September. I have a nice clean & empty criminal record but how long is it valid for? I've heard some people say 3 months and others say a year. If it's 3 months I will have to get it renewed now in time for my embassy interview. I have checked the Metropolitan Police website and it doesn't say anywhere on the FAQ. Your help is, once again, appreciated!
