So I've been hearing that Man. U are going to do a US tour and here are the TV schedules. If I have nothing better to do, I will nip up to Seattle to watch them play Celtic in the first game in July. Not quite the same promise as this year's cancelled Argyle tour but better than nowt.

Anyone else going in their neighbourhood?

I will be on the phone first thing on the morning of March 15th to get my tickest for the Juventus match.
We'll be seeing you there then Jim! I hope that the teams will be fielding their best players though and not reserve teams like they often do for testimonial matches. wink
Hey Jim - how do you know that the tickets go on sale on March 15th? Is there a an internet link for more info?

I'll maybe get a ticket but only if Plymouth isn't playing an important, pre-season fixture against Tiverton Town or St. Blazey that I might want to head back for grin

Hey!!

dont knock St. Blazey theyve got a good team!!

Nigel Martin used to play for them!!

My wife's going to be unbearable when she finds out when and where Man Utd are playing!!

Just a timely reminder since the tickets go on sale imminently I've just had an e-mail from my old schoolmate Andy, who lives in Sunnyvale, Ca.

He's just copied it to another friend of his who lives in our home city of Coventry, asking him if he wants to come over to watch the East Coast games (Meadowlands is 20-25 mins from our house).

Looks like I'll be providing an hotel service!! lol

Anyone else going? You could all come around here for a pre-game barbie... cool lol

(I don't read the sports pages, but has there been much publicity about it so far?)
I take it the US teams just aren't good enough for United. I mean come on, America of Mexico? The LA Galaxy are better than them and they're playing in their back yard.

Needless to say, I'm not going to any of the games.
Are they going to show off all the silverware they won this season....?

....OH YEAH I forgot...

lol
Don't count your chickens, they may win the Champions League yet. I hope not though.
The friend of our friend has already bought tickets for 12, so we're definitely going to the Man Utd v Juventus match.

The last time we saw Man Utd was for a testimonial in Bristol about four years ago, just after they won the European title - our son was nuts about Man Utd as the English Premier League is avidly followed in the Far East....there is now an official Man Utd shop & cafe in Singapore... grin
It is saddening that of all the international folks I know from playing footy here, they all pretend to support Manchester United as their Brit-pick.

Still, last weekend we had a Jordanian who was really upset when I offered him my green Argyle shirt to wear and then took it back as we just swapped him over to the white team. He was well excited to pull on the green glory shirt wink
I think we are going to the Seattle match, if I can figure out these tickets online right now.
I don't think Manc will enjoy sitting with the Celtic fans, eh? (although I could play dumb and get them.. as my retribution for making me think Manchester is Venice eh? heh heh)
grin
Really, can't imagine why... ?
