For anyone who may be interested....

A week or so ago (it's been a crazy week for us what with issues with E last Saturday night, so I've lost track of time, and to boot being the victim of some ugly road rage this morning, maybe more on that later) I found some Balti recipes that I was given by a Balti take away E and I visited when we went back to the UK for my Dad's funeral whenevr that was (I think it was 1996).

Apparently, Balti's were the rage at this point and after we'd had some food from this establishment we were quite taken by how good it actually was.

We went back agin, and met the owners and explained that we lived in the US and asked if we could have some recipes. By the end of the week were were given a recipe for the base sauce and a bunch of other recipe that go into making different dishes.

So my offer is this, if I get sufficient interest, I'll copy over some of these recipes as I feel some of the expat's here may be interested in having a curry (they're really not that difficult, just need some time, but can be made on a damp wet Sunday - if you get damp wet weather  - and enjoyed during the week as they improve with standing).

They're also not terribly fattening either.

Let me know.

Andrew
