We are just coming to the end of our visa (end of march) and I was wondering given the economic conditions whether anyone was having problems with their renewal or even been rejected. I see on the Americans in Uk site, that a few have had work permits rejected there recently
Well, our visas expire on the 10th April and Pete is just about to send his forms into the company's immigration attorneys. I can't see a problem as the company is the sponsor and it's basically a continuation of Pete's current job, just that the petition has to go in again, justifying why they want him here.

Our L2 visas can only be issued within 60 days of expiry, but with Pete's application needs to be dealt with beforehand but copies of dependant's passport & visa have to go in with Pete's stuff.

The following is what I had to send in with Pete's application for myself and our son (daughter will be in India so she will have to get her L2 at the Brit Embassy in the UK on her return).

Photocopy of Passport photo page

Photocopy of L2 visa

Photocopy of I-94 (front and back)

Photocopy of Marriage certificate (not strictly necessary as we have same surname as spouse, but thought I might as well send it anyway).
We have applied for ours too as it runs out January. We have had the first part of our greencard approved too so I can't see that we will have a problem with our L1/2's. smile Company lawyer is sorting it all.
