That was The Sun's take on Angus Deayton being sacked from Have I got News For You for one incident too far in his private life, namely sex and drugs. I was thinking of Mr D and how ordinary he is really and yet he is known (pre all the scandals) as Mr Sex! I got to thinking about celebrities who don't necessarily have the looks of Tom Cruise but who have this amazing charisma which singles them out. I find this really interesting I would list Bill Clinton and Woody Allen as people with zero sex appeal but who have this X ingredient of charisma. So whadda you lot out there think? Or am I indeed bonkers?
Oh bums I've posted in the wrong forum again!! roll
PM maczippy to move it? it might work!
I don't see anything in Woody Allen and Bill Clinton (shudder). Angus Deyton is occasionally amusing. But Mr Sex? Nooooo.
Well what about that torrid affair between John Major and Edwina Currie? That's enough to make anyone want to throw up!
David Mellor (ex-Cabinet member) who wore a Chelsea FC strip whilst having sex with a prostitute?
Allan Clarke? (Aristocrat. Wife complained that his mistress was from 'below stairs') eek
Cecil Parkinson (fathered a daughter by his mistress, Flora Keays whilst still married).
Steven Norris MP (formerly for Epping Forest). Had about 5 mistresses at the same time!!
What is it with politicians and sex? The majority of them are pug-ugly to go with it! It must be that the women who go for them are attracted to them purely for the sense of power that these men convey?
And as for Woody Allen - If he was the last man on Earth I couldn't bring myself to sleep with him...yuck! eek lol
