Does anyone fancy a get together - we can offer tea, warm beer, mice pies and Christmas pud!
We are anticipating a rather quiet Christmas - can't go home for a visit until visa wrinkles are ironed out.
We would love to have anticipated wrongly!
Janet and Jon
MICE pies ! No thanks, trying to give 'em up!
lol Too funny!
Janet .. Jon...Hi! Where abouts are you exactly? The idea of getting together does appeal! Only problem for me is that I'm one of the wierd breed who doesn't drive over here...so transport becomes an issue!

MICH, you get on the train and we'll meet in Manhattan. We'll have lunch near Lincoln Center and take a tour and see what the American Ballet Theater is up to.
AHA!!!!! Anne's on my wavelength!!!!! wink
Btw...I know just what the PA Ballet Co. is up to! The Nutcracker in Philly! smile
(PS ... just found the edit button! Duh me... anyway, what I was going to say is that it's way easier for me to get a Bieber bus up!! I don't know about where you are...but passenger trains? What are they?? lol )

The Washington DC/Baltimore/Philidelphia/New York passenger train is the most popular train in the country, quite fast too - if you can get to one of these cities you're sorted.
I thought that train going from New York to Philadephia in the movie "Unbreakable" was pretty fast - p'raps a bit too fast!
Didn't see that one!
Still think I'm best off getting the bus! Would take the same amount of time..give or take a quarter of an hour ... to get to NY by bus that it would take to get to Philly!!!
smile

Black humour - the train crashed in the movie.
