I've been here for 12 years now, originally from Bolton, and I'm finally realising that what I am missing is some good old British friends. I'm looking to meet some Brits I can chat with and maybe get a pint with once in a while - My yank friends just don't cut it sometimes. Anyway, I live in Discovery Bay (bloody dead out here) which is about 1 hour east of SF, 1 hour south of SAC, and 1 hour NE of San Jose. Anyone up for a chat or to meet for a beer...?

hello lee.how are you?i know how you feel about your american friends.i had to kind of adopt my wifes friends who only go for sport....and nothing else.!! i thought i was the only guy living in new york who wasnt into sport.new york obviously along way for a beer..but wiil gladly chat anytime about good old brit land.cheers!!

Hey, I just found a TV show on cable called Trigger Happy. Have you seen it? It cracks me up and reminds me of the good old british humour. My girlfriend, US, supposedly thinks it's funny too but I don't really see her laughing when it's on. I think she's saying it to appease me....heheh
