Finally, after a wait of more than twenty months I have my interview at the Embassy a week on Wednesday. My wife and I are both excited about it but right now we would just like to get it over with.
Call me paranoid but after this lengthy wait with little in the way of explanation I cannot help feeling that they will come up with some excuse to refuse the visa.
However assuming everything is OK I should be starting my new life in South Carolina in the next few weeks.
Incidentally I am curious as to why I now have two case numbers. The one issued last year is completely different to the number that is on my forms now. Could it be that the I.N.S. or Embassy have boobed?. Perhaps that is why it has taken so long, if so does anyone think there is any hope of an apology from the authorities?. Or I am being naive?.
