Ruth - you might like to check the Get-Togethers forum - there is a group there who might be interested in getting together with you in Boston - there are quite a few there.

Welcome to Britnet smile
Thanks that is a great help
Hi Ruth,

Welcome to the board and to the US.

As others have mentioned there are loads of Brits in Boston and reading the get-togethers board it sounds like they have a great time, hope you get to hook up with them all soon smile
hello - I've left you a message on the other note you posted. Hope you get one or the other. Welcome to Boston! You will love it here. I only moved across this summer and totally understand that it can be a bit daunting.
Get in touch soon and we'll get the other Boston Brits to take you out and show you why you made an excellent decision in choosing to move here.
You maight like to have a look at http//www.bcae.org
Everyone seems to have done one or two courses at the centre for adult ed and its a great way to meet others with similar interests. (stay away from the disco dancing course though!).
I hope you settle in quick and please contact me if you need any help finding your way around.
