US loss, huh? I'm assuming that the world basketball championship is not run in the same ways as the World Series -can't even remember which sport it is, even, but the one where only American teams are entered.

I agree with BB here.
Both England and the US reached the quarter finals of the world cup, and were both beaten by the eventual finalists, so how can they be above us.
Should be equal surely?!

Your assumption would be correct, Doc. IT is an ACTUAL world championships, with all sorts of countries in it and everything. Unlike the World Series of......Baseball, which may as well be renamed the world series of pants with poo in them.
