Not DC, but I live in Baltimore and come down to DC frequently. I'm a Brit, from Rugby. My partner, also a Brit, is from Bristol.

Hello Ruthgill & welcome to Britnet smile
I don't live in the DC area (a bit further north in New Jersey) but I'm originally from Coventry - and often worked in Rugby. My husband is from Bristol (so is UKMocha who also posts here).
And a couple from Baaaath wink

Hi Tim, I know Ashburn, the people we bought our house from moved there. I see you have East Anglia connections, we lived in Willingham for 9 years and then on to Bildeston in Suffolk for a pit stop before moving here. Been here since 2002 and down the road from you in the sprawling metropolis of Hampton RoadsD Welcome to Britnet, when she can get her head out of her Harry Potter book Monster will be along shortly to correct any mistakes, errors and omissions you make wink

I live in Sterling, VA. Been in the US since May '01. I work for a British company. Anyone else live near me or have you just moved to the area? I know what it's like coming to a new country and not knowing people! There are quite a few Brits round here - a lot who work for my company (Cable & Wireless). By the way there is a store called World Market in the DC area (Sterling, Herndon etc) where you can get Heinz Baked Beans, Tomato Soup and REAL Cadburys.
