Theres me here just got of saying i enjoy my own company a lot..... when we have just cleaned up after having a family get together at our home this holiday weekend .

We had 4 families here the kids sharing one room with sleeping bags and stuff ,while some adults lost the draw and had to make do with the sofa, and chairs in the living room .

16 was the total count is was so hot we could,nt eat outside so we turned the garage into a help yourself buffet.

Folding chairs and paper plates was the order of the day and yours trully really got to know what cooking for a bunch of hungry faces was like when the gas runs out on the barbie ,lucky we had just bought a new one so the riot was avoided .

Everyone enjoyed my Sherry triffle except the kids, they had a specially made one with no booze but lots more fruit and whipped cream .

Just finished vacumming the floor and putting everything back in its rightfull place ( mugs with handles facing the same way .. take note Monster smile.. and i think its time to go to bed ... tomorrow is another busy day ..MY BIRTHDAY ...

Sounds like you had a great time, John. I always worry about running out of gas at the wrong time (can never find that condensate line when I need to lol ); it was good that you were prepared with the backup cylinder.

And many happy returns for today!
John, we hope you have a lovely birthday tomorrow.

Many Happy Returns - have you got anything nice planned or that you're wanting to do for the occasion ?

Belated happy birthday wishes to you John.
O.K. after reading this you will all probably think that I'm totally off my rocker ......

Have you ever thought how many people share your birthday - people that you know and for the most part, people that you don't.

I have never met any of the people on this Board but discovered that (at least) one of you share the same birthday with me.

I also go onto a British B&B Board ( I run a B&B) and discovered that one of the ladies on that Board also has September 4th as a birthday.

Cool or what ?
