On a trip to my closest British store last week I picked up some Irish bacon without really looking at the package.
Whilst opening the package I saw that it was in fact made in the US in Brighton Mass.
They say they are Irish family business using original Irish recipes.
To me it is a little short on flavour, but still makes a very good bacon butty. smile

To all of you in and around Boston the address of the store is
Olde Irish Butcher Shoppe
571 Washington St # A
Brighton, MA 02135
617-782-9299

If any of you go there please report back if they do other meat or pies that would make it worth my while to take a long detour next time we are in Mass.
Thank you

Hey...I know them!

You can buy from them on line via Goodwoods.com

Goodwoods also have other vendors of meat, sausages, pies etc. The pork bangers weren't half bad.

Can never resist a nice bacon butty in the morning. Get mine from britishcomforts.com but they only ship their frozen food locally. Best prices i've seen though for all the other goodies I eat. smile
