Hello all (and thanks to Nicky for pointing me to this area).
Well, what does one say in an intro. I'm Nik, barely the right side of 40, married to Alyson, with 3 sprogs (only 2 of which are in the US). Originally from Kent, but lived mainly in Bradford, with the last 9 years in Hampshire.
We moved here in Nov last year - my employer offered me the chance so we jumped at it. We chose Franklin as my brother and his family already live here.
Enjoying most things American so far, but missing pubs, fish'n'chips and curry badly though (seems to be a recurring theme) ...
Glad i've found this place - I look forward to future conversations (and maybe the odd argument) with all ....
