I'm Dave, 29 yrs young from Dorset, trapped down here in Orlando, FL in the blistering heat. I have been living here for about 5 years and am battling my inner voices trying to figure out where to go back to lovely Poole or stay here with the pale Floridians.
I haven't met any nice Brits here at all, just obnoxious Mickey Mouse worshippers and "all you can eat chinese buffet" fans from Liverpool (not that there is anything wrong with Liverpool of course)
Anyways as the Yanks say, I'm just trying to meet new people stateside as I have no family here and would love to be in touch with some Brits Most of all I miss the food from back home, food which the Yanks always say they hate because it is so "plain". Well I happen to like fish n chips doused in a good helping of gravy. And Salad Cream, oh my mouth weeps.
