Well we are going to try and get my work visa from the Denver Office on Monday. We were told that we could just go in and get my work visa (I-765 & I-485) in one day and don't have to wait for my I-130 to go through! We filed the I-130 in Nebraska in Feb and were told we had to wait for that one to go through before we could file for anything else. However I was talking to an Imigration officer today and he said that we don't have to wait for the I-130 to go through, we can just go to the Denver Office and file for my work Visa and get it the same day!
The question is has anyone else done this, if so what happened?, is this really true? What's the best time to get there?
