Well then as only we could say, bollocks.
I must have been niave to think they'd "just let me back in". I can't risk that, i guess i'll have to stay and get my folks to come over here to meet my girl and her family. QUESTION. Can i marry (apply for K visa) from here whilst i'm illegal, or will the first time i walk into I.N.S they'll nab me?
If i am ready (financially) to get married do i have to go to England to apply (someone told me that even if your illegal and in the states you can apply to get married and do the whole thing here - true / false??
What ever happened to falling in love with your 6-2 leggy brunette southern belle and living happily ever after. As for Ben from Nottingham, i understand how people can get ****ed off when other people screw the system, but let me tell you mate, i work my arse off over here and it ain't that yankee puffy stuff on long island. Down here in Texas i work almost as hard as my Amigo's from Methico, and the old chestnut about not paying tax, EVERY SINGLE DOLLAR i earn goes back into the american economy AND all my savings from Britain have been spent here. As for 9/11 it should be EASIER for us to get visa's in fact they should give ME one as my brother is in Fu@4ing Afghanistan fighting THEIR war, don't get me started. (rant over)
Anymore info, advice would be greatfully appreciated.
Rob
Rob, if you are working over here, you are working illegally. I'm sure you don't like it when people do that back home. It's no different here.

I just wanted you to realise that even though I will give you a way to get round your problem, it doesn't mean I agree with what you are doing.

And if you work with Mexicans then why don't you ask them how to stay here. they are good at beating the system.

And as I said before, if you have money, then go to mexico and buy yourself a visa so you can stay. there are lawyers who will do this for you. It will cost you around $15,000 but that price may have gone up now that visas and greencards are harder to get.

If you look further down the immigration section, there are quite a few posts regarding the marriage visa. I think you will find a lot of people have had to wait in the UK for months before being able to get back into the country with their visa. RogerPennygate is a prime example. His wife has been here for months and he is just about to get over here to be with her.

And I won't take offense that you are presuming I am a man! grin
