Hi everyone,

Does anyone know whether you need to have the
I 129F Petition for a Fiancee Visa notarised. There doesn't seem to be anywhere on the form for a notary's seal or stamp, and it doesnt indicate this on the instructions.

Thanks in advance
Hi Karib,

I got the K-1 in early 2001 so my info may be a little out of date...but back then you did *not* need to get the petition notarised. Also because the instructions don't request it, that indicates that you still don't need to do it.

What does need notarising is the I-134 affidavit of support.

best wishes, Jennie
Hi Jennie,

Thanks for your help. I just took a trip to your website and I must say it is very informative. I would recommend it. Thanks again!

I-129F does not require any notary signature.
