First of all I will go visit my family and friends, then go to the pub for a sunday lunch, watch some footy and have a beer.
Well its almost impossible to get a well paid job back in the UK without a qualification, so I will probably go back to college.
Or find a job like the one I have here (Electric Linewoman).
Luckily I will be taking a chunk of money home from selling my house so that will tide me over till I get qualified or get a job.
I never did pass my driving test in the UK, so I guess I will need to do that asap. Buy a car.
Getting really excited about going home.

Personally I think you're mad for moving back to the UK permanently.

I don't think I could go back and be happy.
So much would have changed, I would be used to things as they are here and find it more irritating I guess.
I could make the switch if I hadn't lived here over ten years maybe but now I feel so much time has passed, it wouldn't feel right.
Props to those who do and enjoy the return.

I second that.
